DVA Services

We are proud to support our veteran community through the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA). Our physio’s provide individualised, evidence-based care to help you recover, manage pain and stay active and independent.

We treat a wide range of musculo-skeletal conditions, including:

  • Chronic back or neck pain
  • Knee, shoulder and ankle conditions
  • Recovery after surgery (e.g. knee or hip replacements)
  • Soft tissue injuries
  • Muscle and ligament strains and joint instabilities
  • Osteoarthritis

How to Get Started

To access physiotherapy under DVA:

  • You’ll need a referral from your GP
  • Your GP can usually refer you for up to 12 sessions per treatment cycle. You can get several treatment cycles per year, depending on your condition
  • Once you have your referral, call our admin team to book the initial assessment with our physio.

During your first appointment, we’ll complete a thorough assessment and discuss your goals to create a treatment plan tailored specifically to your needs and lifestyle.

What to Expect

  • A combination of manual therapy and exercise-based treatment to support your recovery and long-term function.
  • A stress-free, supportive environment where we pay close attention to your comfort and well-being.
  • Evidence-based rehabilitation programs to help you move better, feel stronger and stay independent.

So, what's next?

Being faced with an injury or being told by a health practitioner to undergo a particular treatment can be quite daunting. That’s why we are here to help you. You can book a 15-minute video consult to ask your trusted health practitioners any questions you may have on your mind. No judgement, no strings attached and most importantly, no fees!
