Pilates for our NDIS community
Thinking about trying Pilates but not sure how it can help you?
Pilates is all about improving core strength, coordination, mobility, posture, and muscle tone. It’s a fun, low-impact way to move your body while building the foundations for better balance and everyday function. There’s not a single person who wouldn’t benefit from Pilates!
You can email our lovely admin team and we’ll get in touch with you or your NDIS coordinator to organise the next steps and confirm how Pilates will support you in achieving your goals.
How to get started
Your journey begins with an initial assessment. During this session, we will:
- Complete a baseline assessment - strength, movement and balance. All so we know where to focus on specifically.
- Discuss your NDIS goals and how Pilates can support you
- Create a tailored plan to track your progress over time
What to Expect
Most NDIS Pilates sessions are one-on-one, allowing us to provide individual attention and ensure your safety and accuracy of the exercises. Each session will meet your capability level
If you are confident with your exercises and want to join one of our small group classes — your physio can support you if this will be beneficial.
Sessions may be held once a week, fortnightly or twice a week, depending on your needs and funding. For optimal outcomes, we recommend at least 1–2 sessions per week.
