Sam brings a strong foundation in anatomy and movement, developed through three years of teaching anatomy at the University of Queensland. His experience as a competitive judo athlete and street dancer has also shaped his approach to rehab – bringing firsthand insight into the importance of a well-rounded, sport-specific exercise program that blends clinical expertise with evidence-based practice.
He has over three years’ experience as a sports trainer for the Coorparoo Kings AFL Club and Souths Rugby Union Club, supporting athletes through acute injury management and return-to-play rehab. Sam believes great physios aren’t just skilled in treatment – they’re adaptable, empathetic, and strong communicators who help others reach their potential.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find Sam dancing with his performance crew, hitting the gym, or on the mats for a judo or Brazilian jiu-jitsu session. He’s also deeply community-minded and loves bringing people together, having helped run large cultural and university events over three years.
